Order notifications: Dashboard (always on), WhatsApp (on by
default, with a customizable message template — Pro; stores created
before 2 October 2026 keep it on every plan — and placeholders like
{customerName}, {items}, {total}, etc., plus a "Load default"
reset), Email (off by default, sends a transactional email per order).
When Email is on, a "Send order emails to" field appears: leave it
empty to use the account email the store was registered with, or enter
any other address (e.g. a shop inbox, or if the sign-up email was wrong)
and every order email goes there instead (every plan). Pro can click
"Add another email" to send each order email to up to 3 addresses
(e.g. owner + staff). After a downgrade the extra addresses stay saved but
only the first one receives emails.
Low-stock alert (WAStore Max) — "Email me when stock is running
low" plus a number (default 3). When an order takes a product, or one of
its variants, from above that number to at or below it, the owner gets one
email listing those items ("2 left", "Sold out") with a link to Products.
Only products with a limited stock number count. It goes to the same
address(es) as order emails (or the account email). Each item alerts once on
the way down, not on every later order. Free/Pro see the card with an
upgrade prompt.
Order tracking toggle (on by default) — shows customers a tracking
link on their order confirmation screen (not in the WhatsApp message) that
updates as you change order status.
Which of these alerts the owner automatically? Only Email. The
"WhatsApp" toggle controls the pre-filled message the customer sends;
WAStore never sends the owner a WhatsApp message itself. There are no push
notifications. Owners who want to hear about every order should turn
Email on.
