Store name (required), description, WhatsApp number (optional — used to
hand off orders as a WhatsApp message; every order is recorded in the
dashboard either way), address, country, logo.
WhatsApp number format: always with the country code, e.g.
+33 6 12 34 56 78 or +225 07 07 12 34 56. Spaces and the "+" are fine — the
dashboard cleans them up. Without a country code, customers' WhatsApp
messages can't reach the owner. Pasting a WhatsApp link (wa.me/… or
api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=…) fills in the number automatically; a
business "wa.me/message/…" link has no number in it, so the field asks for
the number instead. Once the number is usable the field shows where
customers will write, with Test (opens the chat) and Copy WhatsApp
link buttons; the same chat link can be copied on the Share page. Setting the store country in the same
tab also helps WAStore turn customers' local phone numbers (e.g. 0176…)
into working WhatsApp links in Orders and Customers.
Store URL is shown but fixed — it can't be changed after creation.
Currency and Language (required dropdowns) — currency drives price
formatting store-wide, language sets the storefront's display language.
Languages (storefront, dashboard and site): English, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic,
Portuguese, Russian, French, Indonesian, German, Italian, Polish, Czech,
Slovak and Hebrew. Product names and descriptions stay as the merchant
writes them — AI tools (Max) can translate them.
"Show my store in the WAStore showcase" (on by default, every plan) —
stores with 5+ visible products and a logo are listed on the public
showcase page wastore.app/stores (name, logo, country, product count,
short description, link to the store). Untick and save to be removed;
the page refreshes within about an hour.
Social links — Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Telegram, TikTok, plus
any number of custom "Other links" (label + URL, individually removable).
