Privacy Policy

WAStore is a free online service that lets you create a WhatsApp-based store. The service is operated by WAStore. For any privacy questions, contact us at admin@wastore.app.

We collect the following information when you use WAStore:

• Account data: your email address and hashed password, used solely for authentication.
• Store data: store name, description, WhatsApp number, address, logo, theme, and other settings you enter in your dashboard.
• Product data: product names, descriptions, prices, and images you upload.
• Order data: when a customer places an order through your storefront, their name, phone number, and delivery address are stored so you can manage orders in your dashboard.
• Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregated data about how visitors use the site, collected via Vercel Analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected at this level.

• To provide and operate the WAStore service.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To allow your customers to browse your products and place orders via WhatsApp.
• To improve and monitor the performance of the service.
• To respond to support requests sent to admin@wastore.app.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following trusted third-party infrastructure to operate WAStore:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database (Firestore), and file storage. Data is processed under Google's terms. Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: Hosting and anonymous analytics. Vercel Privacy Policy.

When a customer places an order through your store, their name, phone number, and delivery address are stored in your dashboard. As a store owner, you are responsible for handling your customers' data lawfully. Customer data must only be used for the purpose of fulfilling their orders.

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your store or your entire account, all associated data (store details, products, and orders) is permanently and immediately deleted from our systems. Anonymous analytics data may be retained in aggregated form for up to 90 days.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data — update it at any time in your dashboard Settings.
• Delete your account and all associated data — use the "Delete Account" button in your dashboard Settings, or email us at admin@wastore.app.
• Portability — contact us to request an export of your data.
• Object to processing — contact us to discuss.

We use only essential functional cookies required for authentication session management. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.

Your password is never stored in plain text — it is securely hashed by Firebase. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of WAStore after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
