How to sell Christmas cookies online

Put your cookie boxes on one shareable page with photos and prices, set an order deadline and let customers send complete orders to your WhatsApp. Sell by the box rather than by the piece, take orders before you bake, and offer one or two pickup days. WAStore gives you that pre-order page for free — it’s ready in about 90 seconds.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Plan a small menu

Three to six products are enough: a mixed box in two sizes, gingerbread, one premium item and a gift add-on. A short menu bakes faster and sells better.

  2. 2

    Price by the box

Add up ingredients, boxes, ribbon and labels for one box, then your hours. Round the result. Sell by the box or by weight (500 g, 1 kg) so customers compare boxes, not single cookies.

  3. 3

    Take photos in daylight

One clear photo per box, near a window, on a plain background. Show the box closed with a ribbon and open with the cookies — that second photo sells.

  4. 4

Create your store from the Christmas template

It comes with sample cookie products, a Christmas banner and falling snow. Rename the products, set your prices and add allergens to each description.

  5. 5

Open orders and set a deadline

Share the link in your WhatsApp status, local groups and Instagram bio. Put your last order day in the banner and ask for the pickup day in the order note.

  6. 6

    Bake from the list

Orders land in your dashboard and on WhatsApp. Close orders when you’re full, print the list and bake exactly what was ordered.

What sells best at Christmas

  • Mixed cookie boxes in two sizes — the easiest gift to buy.
  • Gingerbread houses and decorated gingerbread, which people order early.
  • Your regional classics: vanilla crescents, Linzer cookies, cinnamon stars, shortbread, polvorones.
  • Gift-ready packaging, sold as an option (“with gift box +3”).
  • Office boxes for teams — set a minimum order in the description.

Check the rules for selling food from home

Home baking is regulated differently in every country and sometimes every city. In many places you must register with the local food authority, follow labelling rules and list allergens, and some limit how much you can sell. Check your local rules before you open orders, and put the allergens in every product description.

Stop orders when you’re full

Decide how many boxes you can bake and stop there. With Pro, set a stock count and the store shows “sold out” on its own. On the Free plan, hide a product or pause the whole catalog from the Products page in one tap.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell Christmas cookies online for free?

Yes. WAStore’s Free plan gives you a store with up to 50 products, unlimited orders and no commission. You only pay if you want Pro ($7.90 a month) for stock limits, delivery zones, coupons and your own domain.

How do customers pay?

However you already get paid: bank transfer, cash on pickup or a payment link. You add the methods once and customers see them at checkout. With Pro you can connect Stripe for card payments where Stripe is available.

Can I offer delivery?

Yes. With Pro you set delivery zones with a fee per area, plus free pickup, and the customer chooses at checkout. Many home bakers keep it simple with one or two pickup days.

Do customers need an app?

No. They open your link in any browser, pick their boxes and send the order. It arrives in your dashboard and, if you want, on WhatsApp or by email.
