Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay (Stripe)
On Pro you connect your own Stripe account: customers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the order is marked paid automatically.
Cash on delivery
Turn on “Cash on delivery”: nothing to set up, and the customer pays when the order arrives.
Bank transfer
Add “Bank transfer” with your bank, IBAN and account name; customers copy it at checkout and send you the receipt on WhatsApp.
Ziina or other payment link
Paste a Ziina payment link as a “Payment link” method for customers who want to pay by card.

Selling on WhatsApp in the UAE
In the UAE home businesses (bakers, abaya and perfume sellers, caterers, gift and flower shops) sell on Instagram and WhatsApp to customers who expect to pay by card or cash on delivery. WAStore gives you a store with prices in dirhams and a cart, and on Pro customers pay by card or Apple Pay through your own Stripe account.
Set a delivery fee within your emirate and another for the rest of the UAE, and offer pickup. Selling in Arabic too? There is an Arabic page for the UAE.

Delivery, registration and payments in the UAE
Delivery and couriers
Small businesses ship with Aramex, Emirates Post and same-day couriers like Quiqup, usually around AED 15–25 within an emirate and more between emirates, and most offer cash on delivery for a fee. Many home businesses also deliver themselves or offer pickup.
Registration and tax
Selling regularly needs a licence. In Dubai, home-based online sellers can get an eTrader licence through DED, and other emirates have similar home-business or freelance licences. VAT registration is mandatory once taxable supplies pass AED 375,000 a year.
How customers pay
Cards and Apple Pay are the most common way to pay online, alongside cash on delivery and bank transfers. Payment links from apps like Ziina are popular with home businesses, and on Pro you can take cards directly through your own Stripe account.
What it costs
- Free forever: up to 50 products, unlimited orders and 0% commission.
- Pro: $7.90 a month (or $4.99 a month billed yearly) for your own domain, coupons, sale prices, delivery zones, analytics and more.
- Try Pro free for 7 days, no card needed.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licence to sell on WhatsApp in Dubai?
To sell regularly, yes. The eTrader licence from DED is designed for home-based online sellers. WAStore works the same before and after.
Can I charge a different delivery fee within your emirate and for the rest of the UAE?
Yes, on Pro: create one delivery zone within your emirate and another for the rest of the UAE, each with its own fee (or “to be confirmed”). The free plan has one flat delivery fee and free pickup.
Can I offer cash on delivery?
Yes. Turn on Cash on delivery as a payment method; if your courier charges a COD fee, mention it in the instructions so customers see it at checkout.
Is WAStore free in the UAE?
Yes. The free plan doesn’t expire: up to 50 products, unlimited orders and no commission on sales. Pro is optional.
Can I get paid by card and cash on delivery?
Yes. You add your payment methods in Settings → Payment and customers see them when they order. The money goes straight to you; WAStore never touches payments.
Does WAStore take a commission?
No, not on the free plan and not on Pro. Everything your customer pays is yours.
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No. It works with regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business, and neither you nor your customers install anything.
Can I accept card payments?
Yes, on Pro: you connect your own Stripe account and customers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The money goes to your account, and the order is marked paid automatically.
